The Role of African Women in Shaping Home, Identity, and Emotional Well-being.
Lifestyle Photographer
In "wHOMEn," I explore the profound connection between women and the concept of home, particularly in African society. This photographic series, part of my larger "HOME" project, uncovers the invisible yet transformative impact women have on men's lives.
Research suggests women tend to be more emotionally intelligent, nurturing, and empathetic. My personal experience with my partner, Hadassah, resonates with this finding, revealing home as a feeling – a sense of belonging, comfort, and security.
"wHOMEn" delves into:
• The emotional landscapes of men's lives, shaped by women's presence
• The intersections of masculinity, vulnerability, and love
• Women's roles in fostering a sense of home and identity
Through intimate storytelling and evocative imagery, I celebrate the resilience and nurturing spirit of African women, inviting viewers to reflect on the power of feminine presence in our lives.
